Western Sydney University

The conference opening will be held at the Peter Shergold Building, Western Sydney University Parramatta City Campus, located at 169 Macquarie Street, Parramatta.

The rest of the conference program will be held in the Sir Ian and Nancy Turbott Auditorium, Western Sydney University Parramatta South Campus, located at the corner of Victoria Road and James Ruse Drive, Rydalmere, New South Wales, Australia.

The Parramatta Campus was officially opened in August 1998.  The Peter Shergold Building was officially opened on 17 May 2017 and is the University’s $220.5 million, flagship campus in the Parramatta CBD.  Although the Parramatta Campus is relatively new, the site and some of its buildings have a longer history.  In particular, the Female Orphan School is recognised as being the oldest three-storey brick building in Australia, with its foundation stone being laid by Governor Macquarie in 1813.
